Greetings,
As we settle into a late start on winter around here, I am looking for other orchardists in my area who are interested in getting together to talk fruit and nuts. We are located south of Ottawa Canada between Smiths Falls and Kingston. We have a non-commercial mixed fruit permaculture orchard covering about 4 acres (with about 20 apple trees, 35 grapevines, many hazelnuts, 300 row feet of haskaps, a dozen plum trees, half dozen pears, lots of black currents, elderberries etc etc. We follow Michael’s spray regime as close as time and resources permit. It is a hobby farm for us but it would be fun to compare notes and share successes and not-so-successes with others on the same journey.
